30th Apr ‘26- The UCSI STEM Workshop – Crawler Robot Build Competition was organized by the Faculty of Engineering, UCSI University to cultivate interest among school students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), particularly in the field of robotics and engineering design. The workshop was held at Block E, Level 4, UCSI Workshop. A total of 22 O-Level students from Leads International School participated in the workshop, where they were introduced to the process of designing and developing a crawler robot. The participants utilized  Tinkercad to create the 3D model of the robot before proceeding with the assembly process to develop a functional crawling robot. Working in teams of five, the students applied their creativity, teamwork, and technical skills to design, build, and demonstrate their robotic prototypes. The workshop concluded with a crawler robot competition, where all teams showcased their developed robots. Dr. Mohamed Khan participated in the event by providing technical guidance and encouraging students to explore robotics and engineering.
