5th June ’26 – A seminar on Robotics in Medical Rehabilitation was organized by the IEEE UCSI Student Branch with the objective of promoting knowledge sharing and research dissemination among participants. The seminar featured Dr. Mohamed Khan, who delivered a two-hour technical talk on Robot Exoskeletons and conducted a simulation-based training session. The presentation introduced robotic exoskeletons as wearable electromechanical devices designed to enhance physical performance and support gait rehabilitation and locomotion assistance. The session also highlighted their applications in the healthcare industry, demonstrating how these technologies enable individuals with appropriate physical abilities to stand, walk, climb stairs, and perform daily activities. The seminar was conducted via Microsoft Teams and was attended by more than 72 students from various faculties, providing participants with valuable exposure to emerging robotics technologies in medical rehabilitation.
