Organised by : Dr.Khan and Mr.Chuah, UCSI University,IEEE RAS Malaysia Chapter & Robo entrepreneur sdn bhd, Malaysia

The event started by a welcoming speech by the event chairman Dr.Khan. During the workshop students from various engineering discipline were taught the working principle and the design and applications of three different robots manufactured by different companies. It’s the first time all the students were given a hands-on working exposure to and advanced humanoid robot called NAO. Programming concepts about the robot arm, mobile robot also explained. More than 20 participants were present.

The high light of the event was a group discussion to discuss about the future of robotic applications in industries. Mr.Mohan took this opportunity to explain his own project a robotic hand controlled by servo tiny motors, this can also be taken as student project in near future.

The event ended at 12.30 pm by a closing speech by the event chairman.
