The event started with Dua and a key note address from Siti Birkha at 4.00pm. During the key note address Siti Birkha briefed the audience [6 faculty staffs and 35 Engineering Degree level students from Electrical division] about the power of unity and deriving self development skills related to studies and other social matters. Dr.Ahamed khan briefed the students and staffs the role of IEEE and IEEERAS in Malaysia and encouraged them to become an integral part of the IEEERAS team. The upcoming events organized by IEEERAS in Malaysia and oversea were well informed and the participants are advised to take full advantage of the events. The high light of the events was to divide the total participants in to various groups and an open discussion was carried out exploring the ways how the good students can act as supporters in terms of helping the weaker students not only in their studies but also in personal development. Application of Robotics in various areas was discussed .This helped to develop interest among most of the participants to come out with engineering projects related to Robotics in their near future.
Dr.Muhammad Adil Khattak also briefed the audience the challenging task behind writing thesis. The importance of careful reading and reflective thinking about the research topic is well explained.
Dr. Ahamed Khan encouraged the staffs and students to take part and present their Research papers during the upcoming events like ROMA2014, IRIS2015 and MRRI2014 Conferences. The information was well received.
The session ended at 7.00 pm with a high tea.
